Gameplay trailer and much more!


Hi everyone! It's time for one more devlog! 

In the news, you've seen the latest update. I thought the development would be incremental, one change at a time, but it looks like that's not the case. The last 5 months were packed with all sorts of things: we learned how to deal with problems, we changed how we work together, and most importantly, we decided not to give up! Everyone on the Katsl team is talented as hell, and we did a lot of cool things. Check out the new trailer on YouTube:


 + We added more parts to the tile system I've talked about before. In the game, grayboxes still pop up from time to time, but now they feel like an exception, not the norm. 

+ We added the journal—the place where we will store the game progress. With a new crafting recipe and beautiful illustrations.

+ We removed the floating debris, which everyone hated so much. Now the cats arrive on the island by boat! 

+ We introduced a new character, Fuse. She's our "orange cat" if you get the reference. We also created a new soundtrack for her. 

+ We updated our sound design, added ambience, and created cuter interactions. 

+ We made a ton of UI and UX improvements. And will be doing more in the future. The infamous 80% of work for 20% of results.

Speaking of the future, we have a ton of plans. And the first one is to do a round of playtests. I think we'll add a coat or two of varnish and start the playtests somewhere in the next few weeks.
